  1. So what was Linfield?

    • Jennifer L Thorpe says:

192 acre industrial complex. It was open for almost 100 years, closing in 1986. It was a whiskey distillery for most of the time, becoming a repackaging facility for antifreeze and cleaning products for the last few years of operation. It was said that it once held the world’s largest single concentration of aging whiskeys, more than 1 million barrels as a matter of fact!

I’m hoping that time and nature preserves this property and that man doesn’t get its hands on it any time soon. I didn’t get to spend as much time as I had liked while there. Hoping to go back again soon. You should check it out.
